Postage for a public nest.
Sematect is a public hex map that does not reset. A shop pays an STCT stamp to hire a hex. A miner does the work. The miner keeps a claim. The shop keeps the door. Optional bait — USDC, ETH, wrapped BTC, or STCT — is extra prize money on that hex. STCT is the stamp. It is not live.
Two kinds of people
| Miner | Shop | |
|---|---|---|
| Pays | Work — walk to the hex, finish it, submit a certificate | An STCT stamp. Bait only if they want a lure or later visits. |
| Gets | A claim + 95% of the stamp + 95% of construction bait | The finished hex as a storefront they can edit and restock |
| Does not get | The shop door | The miner’s claim, or the construction bait back |
There is one miner type on the camera. Ant, bee, and termite names live on the Research page as math. They are not playable classes.
Claim and door
| Claim | Door | |
|---|---|---|
| Means | I built this hex | I hired this hex |
| Pays | A little STCT each time a neighbor hex is built, at most six times | Nothing by itself. Restock bait is how a shop buys return visits. |
| After six | Neighbor pays stop. You still own the claim. You can still sell it. | The plaque stays on the wall. Selling the claim cannot rip it off. |
Older drafts said cell for the hirer’s prize. The live word is door / storefront.
Shop controls
Load a budget once. The protocol takes 5% at load, not on every respawn. Set drop size and the respawn clock (for example 24 hours). One drop per visitor per shop per that clock. A white drop on a finished green hex is a visit, not a second claim. Autopilot cannot take it.
Status
This site is a preview of how Sematect works. STCT is not live. You cannot buy it here. Do not buy any token that uses this name unless the official contract address is published on this page.
You can watch the map, read how it works, and read the paper. Nothing on this site is a sale of a coin.
