STCT is postage.
STCT is an ERC-20 postage token (planned: Base). Cap one billion. The first time a hex coordinate is finished, the protocol mints 1 STCT to the miner who did the work. Coming back later does not mint a second. A shop may add bait — USDC, ETH, wrapped BTC, or STCT. The shop keeps the ERC-721 door. The miner keeps the paycheck. A Ticket is a shop coupon, not another coin.
What you are getting into
This is not a picture of insects and not a second Bitcoin. STCT is postage for finished work. You either do the work (miner) or pay to have a hex built and keep the storefront (shop). There is no live contract. You cannot buy STCT on this site.

The mint rule: 1 hex = 1 STCT the first time that coordinate is finished, drawn from a cap of one billion. Shop tiles stay shop tiles. Autopilot cannot take bait or Tickets.

Loading a shop budget takes a 5% protocol cut. Reopen after the clock does not mint a second STCT.
The library
Insects coordinate by changing the ground, not by talking. A pellet on a pile is an instruction to the next insect — stigmergy (Grassé, 1959). Wilson named the same fact sematectonic: sêma (sign) + tektōn (builder). The work is the message. That is the name. The forage math is ant-colony optimization (Dorigo). Ant, bee, and termite names on the Research page are the math, not playable classes.
